Weeping Anthony Weiner Pleads Guilty in Court

Former congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin, has just pled guilty to charges relating to sexual explicit texts he sent to a teenage girl.

The 52-year-old also apologized to the 15-year-old girl in court, weeping as he did, according to the Associated Press.

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,” he said to her.

Weiner now has to register as a sex offender and agreed to not appeal any prison sentence that is between 21 and 27 months.

An investigation into his explicit texting also led to the discovery of numerous State Department emails from Hillary Clinton on his personal laptop, becoming a black eye for Hillary’s presidential campaign.
