At the courthouse, after the adoption was finalized, Josh and Jessaka’s biological son Noah held up a sign to celebrate the occasion that read,“I was an only child for 1,426 days. But today, May 9, 2017, I became a little brother.”

May is National Foster Care month, and the Clarks hoped their story would make more people aware of the crisis in the country of fatherless children.
“It is not easy. You have to know that you know that you know that God called you to adopt. And you need a lot of support! You will feel the greatest joys! And you will feel the biggest heart breaks. But just like there is pain in labor, at the end, you get a beautiful child… or seven!”
If anyone would like to help the Clark family raise money for their new family, they can donate on the family’s GoFundMe page. They are currently living in a three bedroom home and would love to get a home with more bedrooms so they can continue their adoption journey.
