WATCH LIVE: Obama’s Final Big Speech As President. Ever.

President Barack Obama is making his final farewell speech at 9 p.m. Eastern, according to CNN.

Watch it live below:

Obama is breaking presidential tradition with his final address.

Rather than delivering it in a small setting in the White House, he has traveled to Chicago where he is giving the speech in front of thousands at the Lakeside Center at McCormick Place, possibly aiming for rockstar enthusiasm from the crowd to end his term with rather than the quiet of the Oval Office.

While Obama considers Chicago his hometown — it’s also where he declared victory in 2008 and 2012 — it’s an interesting choice considering that many of people have felt that the president has abandoned the Windy City during his time in D.C. as its murder and violence rate spirals out of control.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh gave his own predictions earlier tonight about what he believes Obama will say during the speech. Read what Rush said here.
