The majority of girls dream about shopping for a wedding gown, but not so for Joy-Anna Duggar. In a new sneak peek from “Counting On,” she doesn’t seem too enthused, reported People.
In the video, Joy-Anna headed to Kentucky with her mother, grandmother, and sisters to visit a wedding dress designer who made Jinger’s wedding gown. At the store, Joy-Anna was shown six dresses to try on.
“I saw a couple that you know, might be an option,” she shared. “But the rest of them were a little not my style. I knew they weren’t going to work.”
Her then-fiancée Austin Forsyth—who she married in May 2017—seemed equally unconcerned about what they dress looked like. He had the sweetest reply when asked about what he wanted to see in a wedding dress for Joy-Anna.
He replied, “Her in it coming down the aisle towards me on our wedding day.”
Why wasn’t Joy-Anna excited about her dress? She just doesn’t like shopping at all.
“With Joy’s personality type, she doesn’t really love shopping. She’s never loved shopping,” said her older sister, Jessa.
She continued, “When all of us older girls would be like, ‘Let’s go clothing shopping,’ she’d say, ‘How long are we going to be out?’”
Jinger added, “Joy does not enjoy shopping for the most part. It’s not quite her thing… So I figured it’d be the same with wedding dresses.”
Her sisters apparently know her pretty well. She didn’t have any arguments with their assessment of her personality.
“I’m not excited about shopping,” Joy-Anna confirmed.
When asked which dress she wanted to try on first, Joy laughed and said, “Whatever. I don’t care.”

In other news, one TV actor just had a ridiculous opinion on the NFL and the National Anthem. He calls it a “scam.”
