Tad Cummins, the former teacher from Tennessee allegedly responsible for abducting Elizabeth Thomas, reportedly wrote a love song to another former student.
Inside Edition reported Destany Parrish, who is now 19, was a student of Cummins, and he was someone she confided in.
"We used to be really, really close. I could talk to him about just about anything. He was somebody I could go to and not have to worry."
This relationship started to change the day Destany walked into a music classroom to play a new song she learned. Tad had arranged for them to be alone and was already in the room. He sat down while he sang and played a love song to her, which he wrote.
The lyrics included "You're the kind of woman a man can love for the rest of his life and I don't know why. I feel it's in your eyes."
Destany said when she heard the song, she did not assume it was written and sung for her, but looking back she believes it was the beginning stages of grooming her.
She claims that Cummins never acted inappropriate towards her, but she thinks a lot differently now after everything has transpired with Elizabeth's Abduction and all of the new reports coming out from other students and teachers.
