Update: Spokesperson Releases Info About Current Health Status Of President H.W. Bush

Former U.S. President, George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized due to a case of pneumonia. According to CNN, he had a cough that kept him from sleeping. The cough was later diagnosed as an early symptom of pneumonia. After arriving at the hospital last Friday, he has been treated and the issue has been resolved.

President Bush is reportedly doing fine but has continued to be hospitalized as a precautionary measure. As many remember, he was treated in January for pneumonia and was in the ICU.

A spokesperson for the president just released a statement saying,

"President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength,"

According to the same report by CNN, when asked why there was a delay in letting the public know about his hospitalization, the former president said he did not want people to worry over the Easter weekend.

Please continue to pray for a full recovery for President H.W. Bush!
