United Airlines can’t seem to catch a break. Ever since they literally pulled a passenger off an overbooked flight back in April, almost all of the press for them has been bad press. It’s left me thinking, “Note to self: maybe don’t fly United.”
Well, it’s happened again. Shortly after landing in Denver, a packed flight from Aspen experienced “engine failure” and the engines burst into flames. Luckily, none of the 59 passengers were harmed.
One Twitter user posted a picture of the incident.
Another posted a picture of child being evacuated from the plane.
First responders reacted quickly and put out the flames.
But you have to remember that the engine could have given out a few minutes earlier—while the plane was still in the air. Praise the Lord that it didn’t, and those people are still alive.
