Trump Takes on the Pope

Donald Trump, never one to shy away from controversy, disagreed with the Pope in an interview with Fox Business Network.

According to Fox, Trump said "So I think the pope is a very political person and I think that he doesn't understand the problems our country has."

Trump added he didn't think the Pope "understands the danger of the open border we have with Mexico." He said "Mexico wants to keep the border just the way it is because they're making a fortune and we're losing."

The Pope is scheduled to visit Mexico in the next few days. Trump's disagreement with the Pope stems from comments the Pontiff has made concerning sensitivity to immigrants.
