In the wake of a terrorist attack that killed 49 people and injured more than 50 others at a gay night club in Orlando, Florida, liberals have been quick to blame gun laws in the U.S. rather than focusing on the shooter's motives, despite the fact that he pledged allegiance to ISIS and ISIS in turn has claimed him as "one of the soldiers of the caliphate in America," according to the Boston Globe.
In a statement, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump focused on what he sees as the core of the issue.
After expressing sympathy for the victims and their families, he said, "President Obama disgracefully refused to even say the words 'Radical Islam'. For that reason alone, he should step down."
He also said Hillary Clinton wasn't qualified to run for president because she refused to say it too.
He continued, "If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen — and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can't afford to be politically correct anymore."
Trump then focused on the need for slowing and screening the flow of Middle Eastern immigrants into our country to help reduce these acts of terrorism.
He concluded, "Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans. I am going to be a President for all Americans, and I am going to protect and defend all Americans."
