A Republican plan to repeal Obamacare now and replace it in the future has just failed after three GOP lawmakers pulled their support of it on Tuesday. Now President Trump has responded.

Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lisa Murkowski (R-Ala.), and Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.V.) all said “no” to the proposal, according to The Hill. Other senators like Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) indicated they would support the plan but said it didn’t go far enough in repealing President Obama’s controversial Affordable Care Act.

President Trump responded to the bill’s failure, according to CNN, saying, “For 7 years I’ve been hearing repeal and replace from Congress… then when we finally get a chance… they don’t take advantage of it.”

He also went after the opposing party, according to Fox News, saying, "[Democrats] are obstructionists. They have no ideas. They have no thought process."

"I think we're probably in that position where we'll just let #ObamaCare fail,” he added.
