President Trump just sent the climate change crowd a huge message by asking to slash the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget by 31 percent.
According to Scientific American, the president’s budget proposal was a direct attack on climate change programs.
Trump also wants to cut 5.6 percent from the Energy Department and 12 percent from the Interior Department.
He chose other agencies to give a boost to instead.
Trump asked to give the Department of Veterans Affairs a 10.2 percent boost, the Department of Defense a 10 percent hike, and the Department of Homeland Security a 7.3 percent increase.
It’s not a budget likely to go over well with congressional democrats.
It certainly sends a clear message that Trump is favoring our military and intelligence over the manmade climate change theory.
Trump's budget plan also puts Yucca Mountain, a nuclear waste storage facility closed by Obama, back into operation, according to The Daily Caller.
