Trump Issues An Expensive Demand To CNN Before The Next Debate

Donald Trump has built his presidential campaign on strong statements, loud claims, and heavy demands.  For the most part, the strategy has worked in his favor.  He has sat atop the polls for the entirety of the campaign thus far.  When Trump demanded that CNBC change the length of the debate from 3 hours to 2 hours, they listened.

Whether you agree with Trump’s views or statements, there is no denying that his presence on stage is a ratings magnet.  Each Republican debate that Trump has participated in has earned record ratings for the network that has hosted it.  Since his demands have been met before, Trump decided to up the ante for the December 15th debate on CNN.

According to Fox News, Trump told the people in attendance at his rally in Georgia that he thinks CNN should open up their checkbook if they want him to participate in the next Republican debate.  “How about we do this with CNN?” Trump told the crowd, “I won’t do the debate unless they pay me $5 million and the money goes to wounded warriors or vets.”

Do you think CNN will meet his demands?  If not, do you think Trump would actually sit on the sidelines?
