Trump Commits To The GOP, Signs The Pledge And Says THIS

It’s official!  Donald Trump will not run as an independent if he fails to win the Republican nomination.

According to CNN, Trump met with Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus on Thursday.  After the meeting ended, Trump held up the signed paper.  His son Eric posted this picture on twitter shortly after.

"The best way for the Republicans to win is if I win the nomination and go directly against whoever they happen to put up. And for that reason, I have signed the pledge.  So I will be totally pledging my allegiance to the Republican Party and for the conservative principles for which it stands,” Trump said.

The Republicans can now rest easier knowing that Trump will not consider running an independent campaign and splitting the Republican vote.
