At a press conference for the ages Thursday, President Trump countered the mainstream media narrative that his administration is in absolute turmoir.
"I see stories of chaos, chaos, yet it is the exact opposite. This administration is running like a fine-tuned machine, despite the fact that I can't get my Cabinet approved," Trump said, according to USA Today.
Then Friday morning, Trump took to the cameras to address the nation and outline how much his administration has accomplished in just this week.
Here’s an outline of his outline:
— “Signed two pieces of legislation to remove burdens on our economy.”
— “Signed House Joint Resolution 38, which eliminates an anti-coal regulation put forward by unelected bureaucrats.”
— “Signed a resolution to eliminate a costly regulation Dodd-Frank imposed on American energy companies.”
— “Host[ed] White House’s Women’s Business Leaders Roundtable.”
— “[With Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau] announced the creation of the Joint United States-Canada Council for Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders.”
— “Reaffirmed our unbreakable bond this week with our cherished ally Israel.”
— “[Welcomed] my friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House.”
Trump concluded, “So as you head into President’s Day weekend, the American people should know that we’re working tirelessly on your behalf. We are not here for the benefit or bureaucrats, consultants, and pundits. We are here to work for you, and only for you, the American people. Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.”
