Tim Tebow has known much success in his life, but also some failure. He won the Heisman Trophy — twice! — in college, which is college's highest football individual honor. He went on to play in the NFL, leading the Denver Broncos to the playoffs. He is now a TV commentator, and he is still single and hugely popular.
However, he has also known disappointment. In his quest to stay in the NFL as a quarterback, he has been turned down by 3 teams and it looks like his NFL playing days may be over.
The secret to his success? One might assume he would say things like "Train hard", or "Watch other NFL players perform", or "Here is a specific technique that helped me play quarterback." But none of those would be his answer.
As reported recently in ChristianPost.com, Tim said God "can take little things and make big things happen." He said, "With Jesus on your team, you have a lot to offer. When we bring what we have and match it with Who He is, miracles happen."
So the secret to success is not athletic ability for Tim — it is his relationship with God. With God, miracles can happen — and that applies for Tim and it applies for you and me.
