UPDATE: The three children have been found safe after they were abandoned in Sanborn, Iowa, according to NBC affiliate WOWT. The suspected abductor, their mother, is still on the run.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding three young girls who have been abducted and are believed to be in danger. They are between the ages of four and eight.
According to CBS affiliate KCCI, the girls were taken from Roya, Iowa, about 70 miles northeast of Sioux City. They were abducted around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
Their abductor is believed to be their biological mother, 25-year-old Danica Noel Arzaga, who may be heading to northwest Iowa or Minnesota, according to Iowa’s Amber Alert system. Officials are especially focusing on Minnesota, according to Fox 9. Authorities say to be on the lookout for a maroon 2003 Cadillac CTS sedan with the Iowa license plate number 561XEY. Arzaga is a 135-pound white female. She’s 5 feet, 3 inches tall and has black hair and brown eyes. She also has a large eagle tattoo on her chest.
Olivia Sophia Arzaga, 4, is a white female who is 40 pounds and 3 feet tall. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink pajama sleeper and slippers.
Adia Johnson-Enos, 8, is a white female who is 57 pounds and 4 feet tall. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and multi-colored tennis shoes. She has a birthmark on her abdomen.
Lillian Johnson-Enos, 8, is a white female who is 57 pounds and 4 feet tall. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing khaki cargo shorts and multicolored tennis shoes.
