THIS Store Sees BOOST In Traffic As Target Customers Boycott

A study of car traffic at Target stores across the nation over the course of a week near the end of April shows a significant decrease in the amount. A similar study shows a big increase at another store chain.

According to the New York Post, Walmart may be reaping the benefits from Target's decline.

Richard Chmiel, the chief executive of RS Metrics that conducts these types of studies, confirmed this possibility, saying, “We observed a noticeable fall off in traffic at Target during the last week in April and a meaningful pickup at Walmart during that same time. We suspect the bathroom boycott, which was gaining momentum at that time, contributed to the shift."

While Target has made public their open bathroom policy — and sparked an outcry — Walmart hasn't stated one. When asked, they've stayed silent on what their bathroom policy actually is.
