The first Republican debate was definitely not boring.
With 10 presidential hopefuls debating to be the Republican choice, there were many shots fired during the 2 hour debate, both at Hillary Clinton and at each other.
A lot of topics were covered, from national security to defunding Planned Parenthood, but one topic alone was most important to Franklin Graham. Here's what he said mattered to him the most:
“The first GOP debate is over, with many more to come. I was encouraged to see several of the candidates express their faith in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. There’s no question, 2016 could be the most important election in our country’s history. Pray that God would raise up an individual to lead this nation. The Bible says that King David was a man after God’s own heart. Even though he had failures in his life, God used him greatly to lead the people. God's Word says, “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.”
What do you think? Do you think the kind of relationship the candidate has with God is a big deal? Let us know your thoughts!
