THIS Big Hollywood Actress' Role In Recent Movie Drove Her Back To Church

It's not often big Hollywood actors express much of anything positive about faith or acknowledge its importance in people's lives, but one actress' role in a movie she's starring in has driven her back to church looking for answers.

According to the Christian Post, Jennifer Garner has been portraying Christy Beam, a woman who's daughter had a near-death experience and was cured from a terrible condition, in the movie "Miracles from Heaven."

She says she's been so moved by Beam's story that she decided to attend the Pentecostal megachurch of Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Garner admitted that she used to attend church in her West Virginia hometown, but that since moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career, she's fallen away. She says that people in her industry don't talk about faith.

She says her decision to attend Jakes' church was "a direct gift from this movie and for that I'm very grateful."
