Earlier this year, sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner both announced that they were pregnant. Kim and her husband Kanye West are expecting their third child via surrogate in early 2018. Kylie, with boyfriend Travis Scott, is due shortly after with her first child in February.
In September 2017, sources told PEOPLE that Khloe Kardashian was also pregnant with her boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson. In October, sources revealed that the baby was a boy, but it was never confirmed by Khloe herself.
However, on Wednesday, December 20th, Khloe confirmed her pregnancy in a heartfelt announcement, calling it “her greatest dream realized” and emphasizing on her trust in God’s master plan.
She stated, “We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient.”
The soon-to-be mom continued by thanking her boyfriend, “I still at times can't believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages!
“Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!”
In her announcement, she also stated that they kept quiet because they wanted to privately enjoy the first precious moments with family and close friends. Read her full statement below.
