Social media giant Twitter has a policy of suspending the accounts of users who they determine to be using their service to promote terrorism. But the number of accounts they've suspended in the last six months alone is staggering.
According to the New York Times, Twitter has said, “The world has witnessed a further wave of deadly, abhorrent terror attacks across the globe. We strongly condemn these acts and remain committed to eliminating the promotion of violence or terrorism on our platform.”
And they've been working overtime. In just six months, Twitter has suspended a whopping 235,000 accounts. The company also revealed that their suspensions are up 80 percent from 2015.
Yet some of the Left call the concerns of conservatives over terrorism and ISIS operating in the U.S. merely fear-mongering.
