The Way Phil Describes Miss Kay Is So Beautiful, But Most Liberals Would Be Offended
What are the words women want to be described as today? Hot? Sexy? Powerful? Accomplished? You have to hear the way Phil Robertson describes his wife, Kay, in this latest interview about their new book, "Exploring the Joy of Christmas."
Phil was asked how he enjoyed writing a book with Miss Kay, and he answered: “I thought it was pretty cool. Miss Kay is the most gentle, kind, never boisterous, serving. She treats me like a king."
That's not exactly how women today are valued--by being selfless and serving and considerate. Yet, it's what the Bible praises in women. "Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God" (1 Peter 3:3,4).
Phil and Miss Kay have a lasting marriage to show for it.They've been married for over 40 years, meeting when they were just 14. Phil has joked, “The last thing you want to do is wait until a woman is 20 years old to marry her.” They also have 4 godly sons to show for their commitment and a host of grandchildren who love them.
