A tragic shooting happened Wednesday at the GOP's practice for the upcoming Congressional Baseball Game, reports the New York Times. A gunman, now identified as James T. Hodgkinson, 66, from Belleville, Ill., opened fire on the Republicans and shot at least 5, including Steve Scalise, the majority whip of the House of Representatives. Reportedly, the shooter was anti-Trump.

But Democrats showed an endearing gesture of care and support for their fellow politicians by praying for them immediately. The Hill shows this picture of Democrats gathering together in prayer.

Others similarly shared their concern and prayer.

It's great to see Democrats banding together with Republicans in this terrible time. Do you agree? Will you post your prayer? Thank you so much!
