The Obama Administration’s Response To Latest Terror Attack Is Frighteningly Naïve

After ISIS claimed brutally attacked the airport in Istanbul, Turkey on Tuesday, the Obama administration responded with another head-scratching statement that shows just how unprepared and ineffective they are in dealing with the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.

Vice President John Kerry said on Tuesday that the terrorist bombing that claimed 42 lives was a sign that ISIS was weak. According to the Blaze, Kerry did not even refer to the terrorist as part of ISIS. Instead he used the gentler sounding “Daesh.”

“Daesh and others like it know that we have to get it right 24/7/365,” Kerry said. “They have to get it right for 10 minutes or one hour. So it’s a very different scale, and if you’re desperate and if you know you’re losing and you know you want to give up your life, then obviously you can do some harm.”

Kerry’s remarks show that the Obama administration still believes that ISIS is not a real threat and that they believe that ISIS is weak and on the run. There is nothing desperate about ISIS. Every attack they carry out is cold, calculated, and planned.

America needs a president who will stand up against radical Islamic terrorism instead of making excuses for them and ignoring the threat that they pose to our country.
