Angelina Green, a 13-year-old girl, amazed the judges and audience of ‘America’s Got Talent’ with her stunning voice. In her AGT audition, she sang “I’ll Stand by You” by The Pretenders.

Prior to her performance, the judges fell in love with her ‘infectious smile’ and heartwarming story. She tells how she began taking singing seriously after her parents got divorced. She says, “Music helped me so much.”

As she began to sing, audience members already started standing, applauding, and cheering her on. Three of the four judges also gave her a standing ovation after she finished her song. However, what one judge did for her, was completely unexpected.

Heidi Klum honored Green with the final Golden Buzzer of the 2017 season. She said, “I really really loved what you just did. To me, you feel like there is an old soul inside of that little 13-year-old body. I really really loved it. And I loved it so much that I’m going to hit the Golden Buzzer.”

Angelina Green was so surprised. She immediately started crying and laughing, then hugging judge Heidi Klum and her mother, who accompanied her at the audition. She said, “Thank you so much!”

The Golden Buzzer will send Green directly to the live rounds of AGT. It is such a special honor because each judge and host can only use it one time throughout the entire AGT auditions.
