Target recalled their ‘hatch and grow’ line of children’s toys from the dollar section for a life threatening reason: the toy can expand inside a child’s body if swallowed.

If the toy is swallowed, it will need to be surgically removed. However, the Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning medical professionals and parents that the toy may not show up on an x-ray.

Below are photos of the easter-themed products:

Target also made a dino-version of the toy:

Over 550,000 of these toys were sold nationwide since February. Thankfully, no injuries have yet been reported.

This is the second children’s toy that Target has recalled this year. At the end of March, the store also recalled their magnetic tic tac toe games.

If you or someone you know own either of these products, please throw them away or return to the store for a refund immediately.

Please share this recall information with friends and family! Thank you!
