Details have been released after the early morning shooting that took place in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.
A female driver was apparently driving in front of the Capitol building when police attempted to stop her car. The woman fled authorities, becoming "erratic and aggressive."
The driver nearly hit numerous officers and did strike another vehicle. Shots were fired during the stop and the woman is now in custody. At this time, no ties to terror have been made, according to reports.
