Star of Popular 1960’s Show Dies at 87

Ty Hardin, former actor, passed away on August 3rd of 2017. News regarding his death was not released until a few days later on August 7th.

Hardin was best known for his star role as Bronco Layne in the popular 1960’s show, “Bronco.” However, he also appeared in other television series and films including “Battle of the Bulge” and “Custer of the West.”

According to Fox News, Hardin died from “failing health” at 87-years-old. He is survived by his eighth wife, Carolyn Pampu Hardin.

Fans took to social media to express their condolences. One woman referred to him as her "first crush."
