Kate Middleton might not be Queen of England yet, but she looked every inch a queen during a state visit to Norway. Walking through the palace in Oslo on Thursday, every eye must have been on Kate.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting her third child in April, looked like a Greek Goddess in a flowing blush gown from Alexander McQueen, reported People. McQueen also designed the wedding gown Kate wore when she married Prince William in 2011.
She and Prince William were attending an official dinner in their honor at the Norwegian royal palace in Oslo. The couple also spent the day with Norway’s Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit.
Kate accessorized her gown with diamond drop earrings and the same diamond bracelet Queen Elizabeth wore on her wedding day in 1947.
Also in attendance at the event were members of government, leaders in business, and serving members and veterans from the Norwegian Armed Forces. Both King Harald and Prince William were expected to give a speech at the dinner.
Will and Kate are in Norway as part of a four-day Scandinavian royal tour. They started the visit with a tour of the Gardermoan air force base. Later in the afternoon, they visited the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park within the palace gardens.
The park opened last year in the name of Princess Ingrid Alexandra to mark the 25th anniversary of the King’s reign.
"They also attended an event held at MESH, a co-working space for entrepreneurs and start-up companies to grow their businesses and thrive in a creative environment," noted People.
There Kate and William showed off their handwriting on digital tablets that are designed to feel like writing on paper. Kate revealed loopy cursive handwriting, while William stuck to print.
