Rush Limbaugh: Why I May Soon Be An Enemy Of The State
America's most-listened-to radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh offered a grave prediction for the near future if the Left is successful in destroying Donald Trump.
With his transcript posted on his website under the headline "If the Left Dispatches Trump, Conservative Media Is the Next Target" and a fake mugshot photo of him with the words "Enemy of the state," Rush revealed how President Obama has long held him and conservative media in contempt.
Former Speaker of the House John Boehner told Rush a few weeks ago that when Obama first won the presidency, he told the congressional leadership of both parties, "I won. You have to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. That's not how things get done in Washington."
Now in a speech Friday, Obama said, "I'm disturbed about Republican elected officials who know better but are still supporting this [Trump]. What they've done is they've allowed a lot of crazy talk to just be pumped out again and again through all kinds of these media outlets — conspiracy theories. A lot of the hard-core Republican partisan voters were just hearing this stuff over and over again and started to believe it. And that's what allowed Donald Trump suddenly to emerge. Donald Trump didn't build all this crazy conspiracy stuff."
Rush replied on his show Friday, "Translation: Conservative media created Trump. Conservative media is where you find all this insanity, and Trump came along and simply stole it and capitalized on it. And if it hadn't been for conservative media, then America wouldn't be facing this plague that Obama believes is Donald Trump. Now, you and I know why Trump exists. I don't know if Obama really does or not."
Obama already suggested a type of censorship on Thursday of conservative media sources when he expressed a desire for the "wild-wild-west-of-information flow" to have a "curating function" that would have information sources to pass "basic truthiness tests" to determine if they're "reliable."
On top of that, Google just launched a new "fact check" feature for news stories in search results so they can tell you what to believe and not believe.
What do you think of this?
