Sonny Landham, American television actor and stuntman, sadly passed away on Thursday, August 17th. He was only 76 years old at the time of his death. According to TMZ, he passed away from congestive heart failure, common chronic condition where the heart cannot properly pump the blood needed.
Landham was best known for his star role in "Predator," but he also appeared in other movies. Additionally, he played in "48 Hours," "Action Jackson," "Lock Up," and "The Warriors."
Following his acting career, Landham became involved in politics. Variety reported that he ran for governor of Kentucky and Kentucky State Senate in the early 2000s, but did not land a seat.
Fans reacted to his death shortly after the sad news was released. Arnold Schwarzenegger was among those who expressed their warm thoughts and condolences.
