Three years ago, Jessa Duggar Seewald married Ben Seewald. Now she’s commemorating their marriage with a heartfelt letter, revealing how grateful she is for the man who she’s chosen to spend her life with.

In the letter, Jessa writes, “God is constantly opening my eyes to the many blessings, big and small, that I've received through you...and my heart overflows with gratefulness.”

The couple tied the knot on November 1st, 2014, in front of more than 1,000 family and friends at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Since that moment, the couple, who have two children together, has only grown in love.

Jessa, 24, wrote out her feelings for her husband in a loving letter. She posted it on the couple’s blog.

“Dear Benjamin, I thought we’d reached the pinnacle of our love on this day, three years ago… but since then, you’ve taken me from the mountain top up into the clouds! Darling, I love you more today than ever before,” wrote Jessa.

However, that doesn’t mean Jessa is pretending their marriage has been without any trials.

She added, “Sure, we worked through our squabbles and disagreements, like anyone else. But because of your meekness and gentleness in the midst of trials, I always come out loving you even more.”

Jessa also took the time to praise her husband, the father of her sons Spurgeon, who turns 2 November 5th, and Henry, nearly 8 months, for the way he places God first in his life and in their family.

“The greatest blessing is the visible evidence that Christ is truly your treasure. When I wake in the wee hours of the morning to tend to Henry and you're not beside me in bed, I know that you're already up reading and studying your Bible,” wrote the young mother.

“I have loved our recently developing family devotions, as you lead us in prayer and reading the word. And though I laughed a bit and felt a teeny bit awkward at first, I'm now especially loving the aspect of singing together, with the boys, in family worship,” she added.

Jessa also took the time to talk about his faith makes him a rock for her. In hard times, he’s the one that brings calm to the family.

“You are my calm when things are going haywire. Over and over, I’ve heard you say, ‘It’ll be ok, Babe, just take a deep breath.’ And it’s just what I’ve needed at that very moment. You know when I’m stressed you do whatever to help lighten my load,” said Jessa.

Jessa also spent a couple of paragraphs gushing about her husband’s cooking skills, and how he pushes her to eat healthily and expand her horizons. Read the full letter on the couple’s blog.

“The list of the things I love about you is endless,” concluded Jessa. “I am forever being reminded of just how incredibly blessed I am to call you mine. I think the world of you!

Happy anniversary, Benjamin.

I think the world of you!

Love,

Jes.”

After their wedding three years ago, Michelle Duggar gushed about her new son-in-law in an interview with People. At the time, she said “Ben is a peacemaker and a gentle, kind man…I am grateful for the way the Lord brings two people together. We love Jessa so much and are so happy for her.”

Those traits seem to have continued into their marriage. Congratulations to Jesse and Ben on their third anniversary.
