Quite Possibly One Of The Most Beautiful Renditions Of 'God Bless America' You'll Ever Hear

When Airman First Class Michelle Doolittle sang during the Game 5 7th-inning stretch of last year's World Series, the crowd roared with applause, but this year after being invited back to sing during Game 2 last week, she took it up another notch and stunned the stadium.

According to Military.com, the 29-year-old Doolittle, who is posted at Travis Air Force Base in California, sang at Kansas City's Kauffman Stadium and is a member of the USAF Band of the Golden West. She also happens to be the second cousin, twice removed, of Gen. Jimmy Doolittle of the "Doolittle Raiders."

Of her performance, she said "I'm there to represent the Air Force and the people I work with. I'm representing them, I'm representing the larger community."
