Quarterback Posts Photo of Son in His Team Gear, Quickly Goes Viral

Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders Quarterback, is not only known for his success in the NFL, but also for his strong Christian faith and family life. In the past, Carr stated he hopes to be a pastor after he retires from professional football. 

Until then, him and his wife Heather Neel, do their part in serving God and raising their family with Christian values. The couple has two sons, Deker Luke Carr and Dallas Carr.

On July 5th of 2017, the quarterback posted a picture of their oldest son, Dallas, wearing Raider gear including a helmet and Carr '4' jersey. The photo quickly went viral with over 1,500 retweets and more than 8,500 likes on Twitter. On Facebook, the post had over 1,300 shares and more than 32,000 reactions.

Fans went crazy over the mini-Derek Carr. Many commented on how ‘adorable’ Dallas was; others mentioned they were excited for another Carr family member to play for the Raiders someday.
