President Trump Shares Inspiring Photo of Texas Law Enforcement

During the course of Hurricane Harvey and Tropical Storm Harvey, President Trump hasn't been shy about the respect he has for the law enforcement officers who have stepped up to help others during the storm. He also hasn't been shy about how much he values prayer in difficult times. 

Yesterday, he tweeted an image that combined those things. In the caption, he thanked the first responders and volunteers, calling them "heroes." 

"Thank you to all of the brave first responders and volunteers from around the United States helping with the ongoing rescue and relief efforts in Texas," said our president. 

The image shows one hundred Fort Worth police officers praying together before leaving to help their fellow Texans in Houston. All one hundred are huddled together, gaining

In another caption, President Trump wrote, "THANK YOU to all of the incredible HEROES in Texas. America is with you! #TexasStrong." 

It's wonderful to have a president who understands the value of prayer, and it's beautiful to see law and order joined with compassion and prayer. Continue to pray for our president, our law enforcement officers, and our nation—especially Houston.
