Tensions continue to rise between the United States and North Korea after President Donald Trump taking office in January of this year. Since then, North Korea has made multiple threats against the U.S., recently stating that the U.S. is pushing North Korea “to the brink of nuclear war,” according to CNN.

President Trump reacted to North Korea’s recent threats on Tuesday, August 8th. Trump stated, “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.”

He continued, “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal statement, and as I said, they will be met with fire, fury, and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before. Thank you.”

In a separate video, Representative John Garamendi revealed that U.S. troops currently located in South Korea are "prepared to fight tonight" and "strike back" if necessary. See the Fox News video below for additional details.
