Alberta, Canada is experiencing the biggest evacuation in its history as a massive, fast-moving wildfire rips into a city.
According to Huffington Post Canada, 30,000 people have been evacuated from Fort McMurray in the northern part of Alberta as the fire destroys homes and businesses. Video footage from the area show drivers escaping through thick clouds of smoke with sparks raining down on their cars as vegetation and structures on both sides of the highway burn.
Alberta's Premier Rachel Notley said, "All Albertans are watching this, all Albertans are with the people of Fort McMurray, and I think it's safe to say that most Canadians are as well — our hearts are with you."
People south of the border are praying for you as well.
