Pope Makes Historic Announcement Regarding Abortion!

Recently, Pope Francis made a historic move to give all priests the power to absolve women who have had an abortion.  Currently, only bishops could absolve women who have aborted their children, but not any longer.

Pope Francis made clear that abortion is an act of killing the most vulnerable, and the Catholic church is going to remain steadfast in their fight to end abortion entirely.  The announcement, however, comes as Pope Francis acknowledges some women, their partners, and medical staff who participated in the abortion, have deep regrets for their actions and are truly sorry for their decisions.  Through confession and penance, they can now be absolved at their local parish.  Please continue to pray for the end to abortion.
