Poll: Black Lives Matter Has THIS Huge Effect On American's Respect For Police

Black Lives Matter appears to be having a huge effect on the average American's respect for law enforcement, but it doesn't seem to be the effect they're looking for.

According to BizPacReview, a new Gallup poll reveals that an incredible 76% of Americans have a great deal of respect for police, 17% had some respect, and only 7% had little respect.

Compare that to just one year ago, when only 64% of respondents held law enforcement in high regard. The jump in 2016 is the biggest spike since the survey began in 1965. 2004 saw the lowest level with 56%.

Interestingly enough, the level of little respect for police hasn't changed much since 1965, only seeing a small jump to 11% in 2004.
