Police are nervously searching for answers after brutal murders have rocked a quiet neighborhood. Within days of each other, three people have been brutally murdered at random. The killings have all taken place within a mile of one another in a quiet neighborhood in Tampa, Florida. Now, police think there may a connection between the murdered and a cold-blooded serial killer in the city of Tampa.

All of the victims appeared to have only one thing in common. They were all murdered while walking alone. The killer brutally shot the innocent people.

"We don’t know if this is one individual. We don't know their color. We don’t know their race, their ethnicity, their sex," Police Chief Dugan said. "There are so many unknowns, and that's why we're hesitant to label it as anything."

Sadly, another tragedy has just rocked the community. A 60-year-old man was walking to meet up with a friend when he was shot from behind, according to reports. He died at the scene. A witness told police a man, fitting the description of the other slayings, was seen running away from the scene.

“We do have a witness that we have been discussing [what happened],” Dugan said. “When I spoke to her she said, ‘If our officer had been five seconds earlier, he would’ve been able to stop it.’”

A suspect was also seen running away from the scene of the crime. The suspect also matches the description of a suspicious person seen in connection with the other three murders. At this time, no murder has been solved.
