UPDATED AT 1:46 P.M. EASTERN — According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, all tsunami warnings and advisories have been lifted.
On the heels of yesterday's devastating 6.2-magnitude quake that killed 9 people, injured hundreds, and sent tens of thousands of people fleeing in southern Japan, a second and larger quake has just struck the same region.
According to CNN, the new 7.0-magnitude quake has triggered a tsunami advisory. More details are scarce. Please pray for the safety of the people of Japan in a country that has seen thousands of people killed in quake-caused tsunamis in recent years.
