Actress Mila Kunis received abundant accolades from liberals when it was discovered that she had been donating money every month to Planned Parenthood under Vice President Mike Pence’s name. Although her actions were initially reported as a prank on Pence, Kunis insisted she was doing it as a “peaceful protest” against Pence.
According to ABC 15, Kunis explained, “It's not so much a prank as much as I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do. So as a reminder that there are women out there in the world that may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of recurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood."
She explained the Pence regularly receives thank-you letters from Planned Parenthood for the donation. Pro-life advocates, though, were not amused at Kunis’ attack on the rights of the unborn. Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion clinic.
Susan B. Anthony List, a major organization that fights for the moms, dads, and the unborn, came up with a creative way to counteract Kunis’ “Pence” donations. According to Life News, the Susan B. Anthony List has announced that pro-life advocates can donate to their cause in Pence’s name as well. When Pence found out, he made it clear he has no problem with that.
Meanwhile, some pro-life advocates are also responding by calling for a boycott of Jim Beam bourbon, which Kunis is a spokeswoman for, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kunis is best known for her acting roles in “Friends with Benefits,” “Ted,” Black Swan,” “That ‘70s Show,” and “Oz the Great and Powerful.” She is married to actor Ashton Kutcher.
