Pediatricians Speak Out Against Same-Sex Marriage

May we be reminded of the 'Butterfly Effect.' One small action, like the flapping of a butterfly's wings, can have an incredible impact, like an eventual tornado elsewhere. What about, then, a huge action--like the Supreme Court's ruling on marriage: changing it from centuries as between a man and a woman to being between two people of the same sex?

The American College of Pediatricians is foreseeing the disastrous effects ahead and charging the U.S. Supreme Court with the damages.  In a statement in WND made about Alabama's recent defiance of the national marriage ruling, the group said,“If accepted, Obergefell’s policy implementation will deliberately and intentionally deny children the father or the mother so essential to their well-being. … This court should also be reminded that the Constitution of the United States is the ‘supreme law of the land’ and is never trumped by an opinion that ignores the text, structure, and delegated jurisdictions of that document.”

The ACP is saying this decision is about much more than two people's 'rights.' It's about the safety and health of children, the integrity of the family, and ultimately, the foundation of our nation.

What do you think about their statement against same-sex marriage? Do you think it is against the best interest of children? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments! Thank you!
