Legendary entertainer, Pat Boone called out Saturday Night Live for their recent “sacrilegious” skit that made fun of God and Christianity.
The SNL skit, according to the Blaze poked fun at Boone’s new film “God’s Not Dead 2” by airing a skit in which a small town baker refuses to bake a cake for a gay couple and winds up in a courtroom having to prove that God is not gay.
“There’s nothing sacred at SNL,” Boone said. “Except maybe the words ‘Mohammad’ or ‘Allah.’ They’d never take those names in vain, but when they called God a ‘boob man,’ they took his name in vain.”
Boone said that if SNL were to make a skit treating Muslims the same way in which they attack Christians, that the makers of the show would “have to be put in the witness protection program.”
Boone is right. In America these days, there is not a group more attacked, persecuted, and ridiculed than Christians.
God has a sense of humor and Boone knows that, but he also believes that SNL crossed a line that they wouldn’t dare cross against other religions. “Something can be devilishly funny, but this skit is diabolical,” Boone said. “God has only one real enemy, Satan. Satan ridicules faith, and they’re taking Satan’s side.”
Do you agree with Boone?
