NFL Star Killed in Tragic Motorcycle Accident

Former wide receiver, Michael D. Jackson, was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident Friday morning in Louisiana. He was only 48 years old.

Jackson played in the NFL during the 1990’s for the Cleveland Browns, then ended his football career with the Baltimore Ravens.

According to TMZ, a woman backed out of a parking space into the highway where Jackson was riding. His motorcycle crashed into the side of her car.

Unfortunately, the woman was also killed reports ABC News.

It was determined that Jackson was riding at a ‘high speed’.

His largest accomplishment with the NFL was placing 6th in the league for receiving yards in 1996.

After his NFL career, Jackson went into politics serving as the mayor of his hometown Tangipahoa in Lousiana.

Our prayers are with the friends and family of Michael D. Jackson and the other woman killed in the accident.
