One of the NFL’s biggest megastars was involved in a late night altercation at a bar on Sunday. The incident took place in Dallas, Texas.
The star running back of the Dallas Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliot, allegedly knocked out a DJ at Clutch Bar. One person was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
While the victim is saying he can’t be certain who assaulted him, some people are claiming it was Elliot. The NFL is currently looking into the situation.
At this time, no arrests have been made. As for Elliot, the timing couldn’t have come at a worse time.
He is currently under NFL investigation stemming from a 2016 domestic violence accusation against him.
Elliot has previously commented on his life and the spotlight and how he is trying to learn from mistakes he made during his rookie year. At a minicamp in June, Elliot said he’s just trying to “stay out of the way.”
"Just trying to learn to stay out of the way. Whatever you do is going to be seen. I think it's just life," Elliott said in June. "You learn from your mistakes, and if you don't, it can be brutal. So it's just part of life."
