In an interview, Melania just revealed something amazing about her son Barron and their relationship. People are really excited to hear her dish on raising the president's son.
According to reports, Melania Trump reportedly won't hire a nanny to help raise her 11-year-old son, Barron. She seems to be keeping with her previously stated mantra of being a very involved mother.
Back in 2015, the First Lady told People magazine, "I like to be hands-on. I think it's very important." Donald Trump agreed: "If you have too much help, you don't get to know your children."
She also mentioned that "I am a full-time mom; that is my first job. The most important job ever. I started my business when he started school."
It seems to be carrying over even as Melania and Barron adapt to their new life in Washington. Barron also started at a new school this year and is reportedly doing very well.
Melania has also talked about the relationship between President Trump and his son. President Trump has been seen at numerous events with his son and the pair seem to be great friends. Melania said they "have a beautiful relationship."
"Donald Trump didn't change diapers and I am completely fine with that. It is not important to me. It's all about what works for you. It's very important to know the person you're with. And we know our roles. I didn't want him to change the diapers or put Barron to bed. I love every minute of it."
