On Monday, October 30th, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump continued the annual tradition of welcoming trick-or-treaters to the White House. As kids in a variety of costumes from Disney characters to spooky skeletons in “Make America Great Again” hats walked up to the President and First Lady, they were given a delicious treat bag.

Halloween-themed music played in the background such as Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the infamous theme song from the horror movie, “Friday the 13th” with Jason. The White House was also drenched in haunting decor, displaying spider webs, giant spiders, and pumpkins galore.

One of the costume favorites making nationwide headlines is the giant T-rex. He approached the presidential couple immediately following a cute police officer, a sweet kitty cat, and a mini “Olaf” (the snowman from the Disney movie, “Frozen”).

Once Melania shifted her eyes from the little Olaf to the huge brown dinosaur with scary yellow eyes, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened, pretending to be scared of the child’s costume. She appears to say, “Who’s that? You scared me!”

Then, Melania placed a treat bag in his trick-or-treating bag. The president smiled at the T-rex as the young one happily walked off with his sweet treats.
