Major News Site Begins Tracking 'Islamophobia' Instances In Order To Suppress Them

In a recent move, The Huffington Post has essentially announced itself as a defender of Islam and declared that it's their job to track what they see as a widespread "deplorable wave of hate against Islam" in America so that these instances can be publicly reported, confronted, and suppressed.

According to News Busters, the news source has a website setup so anyone can report acts of "Islamophobia," because in their words, "The breadth and severity of Islamophobia in America can no longer go unnoticed."

Instances that have already been reported include a bill advancing in South Carolina banning Sharia law in courts, Tennessee's objections to students having to write "Allah is the only god" for their class, a South Carolina bill allowing the tracking of Syrian refugees to weed out those with terrorist ties, and Wheaton College taking issue with one of its professors saying Christians and Muslims worship the same deity.

And The Huffington Post's seeming desire to promote Islam doesn't stop there. News Busters points out that links on their site encourage people to visit their local mosque as well as the website for CAIR (an Islamic organization that has been linked to terrorism).

Does it seem like The Huffington Post is actually promoting Islam over other beliefs? Can you imagine if they did the same for Christianity?
