Politics have gradually made their way into other avenues of the media other than just mainstream news networks, especially since Donald Trump became President of the United States. Political topics and discussions are almost consistently a part of various movies, television series, music, and even sports channels.

Recently, ESPN sports anchor Jemele Hill posted controversial comments bashing President Trump and musician Kid Rock. Both posts come shortly after the incident in Charlottesville, where many liberals were upset with President Trump’s original comments because he “did not call white supremacists out by name.”

ESPN responded to Hill’s remark on Tuesday, September 12th. The network made it clear that her comments do not represent their organization, and they have communicated with Hill regarding her “inappropriate actions.”
